TOOLS Cas9 protein
The CRISPR (clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats) system is a prokaryotic adaptive immune system that consists of single guide RNA and Cas9 protein for performing genome editing in many organisms. TOOLS Cas9 protein is a purified nuclease from E coli using Cas9 gene of Streptococcus pyogenes. It is a ready-to-use product containing a nuclear localization signal (NLS) for genome editing experiments resulting site-specific cleavage of double stranded DNA.
